*****ABOUT OUR MUSEUM *****
The Chetek  Area Historical Society  purchased a building for
the Chetek Area Museum, it was the former Nelson Realty building, 728 Second Street, Chetek,
the new permanent home for the Museum.  The Museum was previously located in a storefront
on Knapp Street, the Chetek Senior Center, and first established in 1979 in the Chetek Calhoun Library
by our founder, the late
 Hazel Calhoun.

Opening date in our new location was May 26, 2014.
